SCOM 2007 - Windows Server 2003 Base Operating System Management Pack

 Hi all,

This may seem like a silly question but I have spent days trying to work it out. I have just installed my SCOM 2007 box and the first 4 servers put through it are 4 x x64 Exchange 2007 servers. They work fine. The problems is that the Bae Operating System MP (from the media and download) only seems to be able to monitor x64 OS'. Any x86 boxes I put through it remain 'Not Monitored'.

If I go to the MS SCOM Catalogue and look at the details for the MP 'Windows Server 2000/2003 Operating System', it states ;

System Requirements

• Other Software: System Center Operations Manager 2007, Windows 2000 (all releases), Windows 2003
  

Does anyone know if there is a particular MP for the x86 base OS?

 You may want to look through your discoveries, rules and monitors to make sure everything is enables. x86 IS supported as is x64. You will want to make sure the agents are all running, the health service as well as the config service are running.

All I have done is imported the MPs (supplied by MS) and attempted to push the Agent to the first 8 servers. The 4 servers that are Server 2003 x64 are all 'Healthy' but the x86 servers are all 'Not Monitored'.

Am I missing something?
