Does anyone know if it is possible to change the Management Group details of a system that has been installed within the context of another Management Group?
We have the situation - in our DEV environment - where we have built several SCOM 2007 R2 environments, with each of which have deployed agents to target systems.
Now that we have a stable test configuration, we are having issues with the agents from previous SCOM installations still wanting to speak to the original Management Servers. These don't exist anymore however - there is the problem!
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the agents, however there appears that there are (intermittently) some config entries that are not removed or cleaned up, and even following reistallation of an agent, it still wants to talk to the original Management Group/Servers.
Any ideas?
