i extended the AD to assaign clients via AD Discovery.
In SCOM 2007 i can't build komplex LDAP Querys to fill the assignment Groups in AD. So i only can do this by parsing the Computer names, right?
So my question is, can i fill the created Groups in AD manual with Computer Objekts ? Does this work for client auto assaignment?
Hmm, can someone explain me how the assaignment Process is? Which items are created in AD and what are they exactly for?
