Hey all,

I was wondering, did anyone manage to find the best solution for restoration of his system?

Prior to SP1 i had managed to accidently install an agent on the RMS, the setup goes through without any problem and it doesnt even alert you that you are about to screw up your whole system (way to go microsoft!) anyways.. what i've tried to do back then is promote the MS, Demote RMS, reinstall RMS features (all except DB), promote back etc.. all trials have failed.. the 2nd time ive done it, i've tried restoring only the DB without the DW..

I've tried restoring the system in many many ways, everytime something else failed and i had to reinstall everything from scratch..

Now that SP1 is released im having even more trouble, microsoft's documentation is really OFFSIDE, when removing your RMS (except DB) and trying to reinstall the components, it says there is a compability problem with a different component of scom on the same server which is a different version.

Anyways.. did anyone manage to find a good DR solution? im still doing my tests and looking for one.. ill share my knowledge once i have something knew.. for now.. microsoft's documentation is really really not helpful, sometimes wrong, and even their tools can give you problems (from experience)
